I’m an engineer by training turned sales professional working in small-scale start-ups and large corporations.

I write about my experience going from an inside technical rep to account manager and everything in between, selling 80M+ of product in the process.

No fancy business degrees. No network to rely on.

Just good ol’ fashioned work!

So, how did I get here?

I took the traditional path—I studied electrical engineering to get a stable full-time job as a design engineer eventually.

Although engineering taught me valuable skills like problem-solving and systematic thinking, I hated the work.

So, I decided to finish my engineering degree and pivot into business. (Whatever that meant).

I worked through inside sales, technical sales, and management roles, selling 80M+ along the way.

This newsletter will discuss my mistakes over the last half-decade of working in business and the systematic approach I took to sales.
